Stanza 2 Commentary


Those disciples who, seeing that the essence is non-existent, are not attached to the pleasures of existence and its marvelous fortunes, those who generate strong effort, in dependence on leisure and fortune, for the sake of taking up the essence of making [leisure and fortune] meaningful, those who have faith and have committed themselves to the path that pleases the Conqueror and his children, those blessed ones, of whom the Lord of Tsako is foremost, are urged to listen with a clear and undistracted mind.
