Existents (sat, yod pa)

An existent is selfless , but not non- existent. All existents are non-inherently established; its non-inherent existence is an emptiness. All existents are objects of knowledge and thus are objects of a consciousness. This is because all objects are continuously known by some consciousness.

All existents are established bases because they are established as existing by valid cognizers.

Existents are divided into two types:

permanent phenomena (nitya, rtag pa) and
functioning things (bhava, dngos bo)
