Stanza 11 Commentary
If one has entered the above explained path, then as long as the two —
- the understanding that penetrates to the meaning of appearances, such that the infallibility of
dependent-arising means: “from this cause, that effect arises,” and
- the understanding that has found definite ascertainment of the meaning of an emptiness which is an
absence of even a little primordial establishment in conventional phenomena, which is free from [assertions
of] the two extremes, and which is free from assertions of even a particle of inherent establishment in
phenomena —
appear as separate, i.e., are held to be contradictory, like hot and cold, one has still not realized the final
thought of Shßkyamuni, as commented upon by the father, the great charioteer Någårjuna, and his
children.
