  had just background image as the base color, so text was pretty hard to read.
1.1 released 4/26/2004
  added table boxes around text with dark background, keeping light text color.
  now the page is much easier to read, if a bit boxy.
1.2 released 4/28/2004
  fixed some centering issues with the boxes and a fairly stupid bug in the
  cgi shell scripts.  the script was not turning plus characters into spaces,
  which is necessary to rejuvenate the real parameter correctly.
